Worlds oldest Battlefield player is 74 years old
If you were at Gamescom this year and were near the Battlefield 4 demo area, you may of spotted and older man either sitting at a computer or walking around. At first glance people would of dismissed this person as the guardian or grandparent of a minor that was attending the show. But if you gave a second glance you would of seen this man sit down at the computer, put on his headset and start playing Battlefield 4 with all the other players there.
The 74 year old simply known as Heiner, is actually a Battlefield veteran who has logged more than 8000 hours of gameplay over multiple games in the series. I mean at 74 he must be retired so I guess he has all the time in the world to play Battlefield. To top things off Heiner is among the elite PC members of Battlefield, so I wouldn’t take him on unless you are very sure you know what you’re doing, just remember it’s not cool to be noobed by someone’s granddad.
Heiner came into the spotlight after the latest Battlefield 4 trailer was aimed at the people who play Battlefield, he was shown as a put up example to let us know that not just your average college kids and people with midlife crisis’s play EA’s ever popular shooter.
