Titanfall Is Predicted To Sell 6 To 10 Million Units

One of the biggest games of the year is fast on its way to being released. Titanfall launches on March the 13th, exclusively for the Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, and hype surrounding the game is now at fever pitch.

But how many copies of the game could Respawn Entertainment potentially shift when it releases? Obviously Titanfall hasn’t been launched at this moment in time, so people can only make a guess to what it will sell, and that’s exactly what gaming industry analysts have done.

Analysts from Wedbush Securities have now provided a figure on what they think Titanfall will sell when it goes on sale in March. According to the company, the game will sell between 6 to 10 million units across all platforms, the majority of these sales are predicted to be on the Xbox One and PC. This makes sense too, as the current pre orders for Titanfall show that the Xbox One version of the game is out performing every other platform at this moment in time.

Michael Pachter, has also shared his own personal outlook on this prediction. He believes that review scores will play a very big role in how many copies Titanfall will sell, he stated that if it receives a Metacritic score of 80, the game will sell a lower amount of copies, about 6 million. If Titanfall receives a score of 90 and over on Metacritic, Pachter then predicts that the game will sell more copies as a result, and said that it could be anywhere up to 10 million units. This is what Pachter had to say about Titanfall’s sales, ”My best guess is 6 – 10 million units, depending upon the game review scores.  If it gets above a 90, it will likely be at the high end of that range, below an 80, at the low end.”

You can still pre order Titanfall in time for release date on Amazon, you’ll also receive free shipping with it as well as an added bonus.
